Taking several cues from its master L7, the latest Solo-Baric L5 is no stepchild. It inherits the cutting-edge SoloKön™, the one-piece, ultra-rigid cone that utilizes rear bracing for maximum strength as the volume climbs. The punishing 15-inch L5 even requires dual bracing to control its massive excursion capabilities.

Digging deeper, the new L5 contains a T-shaped top plate that widens the motor’s magnetic field, significantly increasing upper bass response. Its wide poly/cotton spider handles high excursions flawlessly, thanks to the increased diameter and a unique shape. The sub’s improved voice coil now rates to 220 incinerating degrees Celsius, which keeps your bass raging longer than ever. And with a new stamped-steel basket, rugged magnet boot, and super-grip front gasket, the Solo-Baric L5 gives any woofer in the neighborhood a run for its money.

You can also protect your L5 with optional cast-alluminium speaker guards.
